Passion, skill and curiosity help me take complex information, processes, problems, logistics or requirements and turn it into a simple solution (sometimes even down to a one-page document) that captures the key essence.

I love the challenge of working at the junction of creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and human factors to come up with unique and useful solutions.

Information & Graphic Design

Diagram Objective:

Illustrating Logistics and Scheduling of Apple Enterprise, EBC (Executive Briefing Center) and Apple Store Tour Collaboration:

For the C-Level Execs (CTO/CIOs) of British Airways, LVMH, all Top-Ten Banks in France, Air France, Sanofi, TotalEnergies, Inditex, Sanofi… Showcasing Mobile Transformation using Apple Technologies (2015-2017)

Design Tool: Keynote

Apple Store Tour with Apple Enterprise/EBC

This Diagram was easily modifiable in Keynote and used for 25+ Store Tours in 2015-2017

Diagram Design Considerations: I created this diagram to better coordinate Special Apple Store Tours in collaboration with Apple Enterprise Account Executives in Europe and EBC. The purpose of the Store Tour is to showcase to the CTO/CIOs of these Global Fortune 100 companies Apple Products and Technologies and how we use our own technologies in Customer Engagement, POS, Operations, Leadership Perspective and Employee Engagement. I created and led these Collaborative Store Tours.

Diagram Solution: I used Keynote to quickly create this Diagram layout and content. Keynote allows easy modifications and re-use for each unique Enterprise visit. I used a circular design to denote “Time” since the Store Tour is time-based and location-based around the store for group management

Special Recognition Received for this Diagram Design: The Director of Sales for Apple France, (who was on my LVMH Store Tour with 39 CTO/CIOs from LVMH’s global brand operations), told me this:

  1. He was impressed by the Diagram’s ease of understanding and use for all involved which made the Store Tours organized and enjoyable. He made it a requirement that all his French Account Executives is required to schedule a Store Tour with us, when they bring their top French Enterprise accounts to visit Apple HQ’s Executive Briefing Center. In a two year period in 2015-2017, we accomplished 25+ Store Tours, many from his French Account Executives.

  2. He also informed me that he had included the Store Tour Diagram in his sales reports to his EU Manager!!

Diagram Objective:

Create a Process-Improvement Diagram to Ensure Quality and Speed of Their Proposal Process and Deliverables.

This Diagram reduced their original 4-page process instructions in text-only down to One-Page!

This Diagram Became a “Cisco Standard Form”!

Design Tool: Illustrator

Diagram Design Considerations: The Head of Cisco’s Proposal / Deals Team asked if I can help them simplify their Proposal Process. I studied their existing 4-page Word document with text-only lists of bullet points that was wordy and long.

Solution: I created a simple diagram design solution, by breaking down the key steps in their Proposal Process and used “Boxes” to represent each step. I organized the boxes in a “Flow” to show the sequence of steps in their Proposal Process. Finally, I used design elements to finalize the diagram so it is easy to read and creates a “AT-A-GLANCE” overview of the Proposal Process to save time.

Special Recognition Received for this Diagram Design:

The Director of the Proposal / Deals Team found this one-page diagram to be so effective and useful that she submitted this Diagram to Cisco internal communications team for approval, which became a Cisco “Standard Form” to be used in the creation of their large scale Proposal Deals.

Diagram Objective:

Enable Store Team to Find the Correct Power Adapter for Customers’ Different Devices

This Diagram maps what we sell in the Accessories shelf to what devices customers own so we can quickly find the correction Power Adapter.

Diagram To Enable Store Team to Find Correct Solution

Design Tool: Keynote

Problem: When customers need to buy an extra or replacement power adapter, we have to recommend the correct accessory/wattage so that their device is charged properly. However, when there are so many options on the Accessories shelf, it becomes difficult for our team to find the correct power adapter for a broad range of devices both new and legacy.

Diagram Design Solution: I envisioned a Diagram instead of a Text document listing each accessory’s capabilities. Instead I created a Diagram using images of the exact power adapter so that we can quickly see “AT-A-GLANCE” which Power Adapter is for which device.

Wireframe Objective:

Proposal To Re-Design Website for an Interior Staging Company

Design Tool: Illustrator

This Web Design Proposal was accepted just before the Financial crash end of 2008, so this re-design project got cancelled due to economic uncertainties in Housing sector.

Website Wireframe, Strategy & Design

Web Design Request: The Interior Staging company owner and one of her key stagers asked for me to help re-design their Website.

Using Wireframe and Web Strategy as Solution: I first designed a website sitemap, and created this wireframe to present the new website’s look and feel and website information architecture so that it can grow as the company grows.

Storyboarding Objective:

Proposed Storyboard for DigitalPersona’s Biometric Technology to be Showcased At The NRF Retail Conference in NY

Design Tools: Illustrator, Photoshop

Storyboard Design for Storytelling Strategy

This Storyboard was presented to the CMO of DigitalPersona for his approval after close collaboration with his marketing team to ideate on their Creative Brief and project requirements.

Storytelling Request: The CMO of DigitalPersona and his marketing team approached me to help them create a 3.5 min Motion Graphics loop to showcase their Biometrics technology used in POS Cash Registers of different brands. This motion graphics is to be played in a loop in their booth at the NRF Retail Conference in NY to get the attention of trade show attendees in the exhibition hall.

Used Storyboard Design to present concept for Motion Graphics Storytelling: To best show the storytelling of their Biometric technology used in the Retail POS industry, I use strong visual elements and simple easy to read text so that Trade Show attendees can easily grasp the concept as they walk past their booth in the exhibition hall.

Graphic Design Objective:

Logo Design For Stockholm’s “Cultural Capital of Europe ‘98” Logo Design Competition

Design Tool: ILLUSTRATOR

My Logo Design was accepted as an official entry by the Head of Stockholm Cultural Capital of Europe 1998

(They made an exception to accept my Logo submission along with 6 other Design Firms recommended by the Stockholm Design Guild, even though I was not on that selective list and just started to do Graphic Design)

Logo Design Considerations: I actually created this Stockholm Word Design to be used in my Swedish T-Shirt Design business that I just started in 1995. While living in Stockholm, Sweden, I wanted to design an iconic design showcasing Sweden. One morning as I was waking up, I saw this design in my head coming out of a dream! Then I quickly sketched it out and created this in Illustrator. I was a brand new Graphics Designer at the time!

Logo Design For Competition: I saw the Logo Design Competition mentioned in a brochure at a Design Conference in early 1995 but I didn’t think to enter the competition as my focus was to make T-Shirts. After I finished the design I thought to do a quick prototype on a T-Shirt using adhesive printing at a T-Shirt printing company before I created silk-screens to screen print the design onto T-shirts using water color paint. When I picked up the T-Shirt at the print shop, a customer behind me saw the design and immediately suggested I enter it into the logo design competition!

A Proud Moment for me as a brand new Graphic Designer: This was a proud moment for me as I just started to do Graphic Design, even though I was not chosen as one of the two finalists as stated in their thank you letter above.
